Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol continues to stay among the top three at the box office, coming in 3rd. Contraband takes first, grossing $24.3 million, and Beauty and The Beast: 3D comes in at second, grossing $17.8 million. The Iron Lady and We need to Talk About Kevin did not seem to make worldwide, so we will look at another film that was released, Joyful Noise. Let’s see how they did and if they are worth the money!

23 DecSherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows took the #1 spot last weekend, Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked came in at the #2 spot. At #3 was Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, New Year’s Eve came in at #4 and The Sitter took the #5 spot. Last week we had 3 films open (The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo and The Adventures of Tintin opened earlier this week but after the weekend figures so they won’t be included in this week’s Movie Buzz). Let’s see how well they did and if they are worth the money!
