Hollywood Take 2: Moviegoers Not Impressed with Lincoln Trailer

What’ happened in Hollywood this week that deserves a second look? Steven Speilberg finally released the trailer for Lincoln staring Daniel Day Lewis. The Toronto International Film Festival comes to an end on Sunday and we will review what films did well at TIFF.  Also, studios are scratching their heads as an award winning special effects company Digital Domain filed for bankruptcy. So here’s a quick overview of what we thought deserved a second take.

The Hollywood Beauty: Part 2

In Part 1 of The Hollywood Beauty, we discussed how Hollywood defines beauty and the use of Photoshop to enhance and sometimes, completely alter one’s appearance to make them more “appealing”.  As long as you are considered beautiful, you will be successful in all your relationships and career.  Everyone will want to be your friend! Part 2 will discuss aging in Hollywood and how it can be a curse or a blessing to a career as an actor.  Also, we will discuss whether it is age or talent that brings longevity.
