In today’s age of advanced technology, everyone can be “beautiful.” With the click of a mouse, a pimple can disappear, large thighs can be slimmed, a crooked nose can be straightened, an open mouth can be closed, and a wrinkle can magically disappear. For Hollywood it seems Photoshop is an actor’s fairy godmother. But is that a good thing? Is there too much concern and emphasis on beauty and age in Hollywood? Is it affecting how society looks in the mirror? In Part 1, we will discuss how Hollywood defines beauty and it’s affect on women and men. Part 2 will focus on how aging among celebrities can be a blessing or a curse for their career.
