On June 4, 2008, Jodi Arias brutally murdered her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander. His body was discovered by a few freinds almost a week later on June 9, 2008. I am currently reading the book by Jane Velez Mitchell titled Exposed: The Secret Life Of Jodi Arias. She later was found guilty of murder but the jury could not reach a verdict on whether to give her a life or death sentence.

Red Carpets, Awards, Money, Fame and Adoration: Everyone dreams of having these things. Some people have achieved what many people dream about. Does anyone ever stop to think about the mental and emotional factors these put upon actors and the average entertainment consumer?
The Great Emancipator almost was not great enough for the big screen. According to Steven Spielberg, Lincoln, was extremely close to being premiered on HBO. Despite his film grossing over 182 million dollars in the domestic box office, he has spoken out about the implosion of Hollywood.

Almost 53 years ago on August 28th, 1963 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. made his famous I Have a Dream speech to over 250,ooo civil rights supporters at Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. King described his dreams of freedom and equality arising from a land of slavery and hatred. Today with the majority of young black men housed in prison in the US. Is it possible what happened to Rodney King and Trayvon Martin the extreme and fatal results of discrimination and repression of black men in America?
On February 26, 2012, George Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin during a confrontation between the two. George states that Trayvon jumped out of the bushes and ambushed him and that he shot Trayvon in self-defense. The case has since gone to trial and on July 12, the sheriff’s office in Sanford, Florida asked people not to riot whatever the outcome may be.
All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital. These three soap operas and many more have brought afternoon entertainment into our homes for years. If we are like everyone else, we have our favorite soap as well as favorite characters which keep us addicted to their relationships and dramas.
