The privacy of our visitors is important to us here at Linked-in-Hollywood. We are disclosing the type of information that we maintain for visitors to our blog.

Log Files (Visitor counters)
Like many other Web sites, LIH makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol ( IP ) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider ( ISP ), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

We are using limited functionality of ClustrMaps and Feedjit which provides us geographical information city, state, country for visitors to our site. The city information provided by Feedjit is a geographical approximation based on your own ISP and it is not necessarily the correct city from which you may access the internet. Neither of these free services provides us with logging capability at this time.

All comments are stored as part of the website log files noted above. These are inherently provided by use of WordPress.com. All comments contain the following pieces of information: typed in name, typed in email address and IP address. If name and email is linked to Gravatar, the Gravatar image and user name is also stored.
