Global Alliance For Transformational Entertainment

19 Feb

Through the years of Hollywood’s cinematic history  can you name one film that consciously transformed you in a positive manner?  For me, it is the film What Dreams May Come.

Would you as a film consumer be interested in a conscious positive shift in film making?

YES! YES! YES!!!!!!! 🙂 What a great topic Paris! Thank u for sharing this with us.

Let’s see to answer your question. The film that consciously transformed me in a positive manner is also “What Dreams May Come” but that is only one of a list of films for me. My next would be “Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind,” “Pay It Forward,” “The Truman Show,” “Forrest Gump” and “Little Miss Sunshine.” I have more but these films I quote quite frequently because of their positive messages.

Here is a great review below from a Cinephile describing how a film has the ability to spiritually transform someone.

    Paris,

People often believe films that aim to be spiritually uplifting come off as too preachy and boring. What I like what Jim Carrey stated in his presentation last year was that spiritual transformational films don’t have to be boring. Would u agree? Can u explain why u like GATE?

Ok, don’t laugh, but I totally get spiritual themes from “Star Wars”. hahahaha!!! I think films that don’t overtly “preach” spirituality get into peoples’ minds and hearts more.
