2013 Film Product Placement Award Predictions

Since 2001, Brandchannel follows product placement and brand appearances in film that spent a weekend at the top of the U.S. box office. Each year, the product placement Brandcameo awards the best and the worst product placement in a film. In this article we will take a look at the award winning categories and see what 2013 films might be in competition for this award.

The going trend among product placement companies today is integration. Meaning how well is product or brands integrated into a plot or film.  According to an article “What Will 2013 Bring for Product Placement” states;

      I was always interested in knowing more about the top product placement companies and in my research found out about awards dedicated to it. I guess u can say I was curious.

    Ok I had to read about the worst product placement first. Maybe I missed it while reading, but how is product placement discerned as best or worst?

      From what I conclude what makes a good product placement in film is how well the brand is integrated into the plot. How well it creates consumer desire to purchase the product etc.
