If you observed it, we hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday.

Since the article posted today addresses sleeper-hits, we wanted to ask you a question regarding this kind of film? In recent years many directors are leaning toward selecting unknown actors in films. Please tell us of those sleeper hit movies released in the last two years, how many used unknown actors?

For all of you who answer please tell us whether the film was successful using that option. Remember these movies have to derive from original screenplays.

    Here’s stab at a movie. “Another Year” (2010) features a lot of actors who might appear to be unknown to the general public. I have to admit I am familiar with many because I have seen them in supporting roles in the past.

    Evaluation of this answer will help me propose another.

    Oh yeah, it has to meet someone’s notion of a hit. Maybe this was a bad selection?
