Dear Readers,

In case you were wondering how we come up with the topics for our ”Six Weeks Series” we thought we would let you know.  Thinking back of the last 6 months, no one did any particular market research we just got together, threw out some ideas, a vote usually followed, and voila that’s how the topic resulted.  If the reasoning was far more deliberate than that, this contributor is not aware of it but I’m pretty sure the topic development isn‘t anymore determined than what I described.

So in one week you will hear about our new series.  This will be the last week of our current series.  Fortunately contributed by Ozzie we will bid farewell to our concentration on Hollywood and Politics.  Don’t worry we aren’t permanently leaving the topic; it just won’t be our sole focus anymore.

These topics we have chosen have influenced the creation of some of our best articles.  More often than not these articles appear on Wednesday.  Mondays are always dedicated to a random article; the writer chooses a topic not defined by any previous agenda.

Following the lead of the last Hollywood Take 2, and knowing we have at least a few Twilight fans in the audiences we thought we would prepare some Twilight farewell trivia.

What was the name of the Native American community that Jacob Black’s came from?

  1. The Inuit
  2. The Quileute
  3. The Sioux
  4. The Shawnee

Who is a member of the Denali coven?

  1. Caius
  2. Jane
  3. Irina
  4. Felix

Unique to the Twilight series, Stephanie Meyer created many of the series vampires with super powers.  What is Edward Cullen’s super power?

  1. Empathy
  2. Precognition
  3. Tracking
  4. Telepathy

This week’s schedule:

Monday—Hollywood Type Cast:Curse or Blessing? by Little Bells

Tuesday—discussion

Wednesday—Visual Arts/Politics in Hollywood-by Ozzie

Hmm! The answer to #1 is #2.

  2. littlebells November 13, 2012 at 3:01 PM #

    #3 is 4, but I can’t remember #2 and don’t even care to google it! 🙂 hahaha!!!

Did anyone watch the premiere last night? Wow, pretty boring for the final premiere if you ask me. I will be interested to see how it does this weekend with Skyfall and Lincoln.

I loved Rob’s emerald green suit. That was so cool. Loved it! Yes, I watched the premiere for a bit ITA it was boring up until Rob showed up. I think Rob and his green suit made my day. Hahahaha! He really stole the show. Those Brits!

I liked the green suit too, although I know a lot of folks who thought it was awful. I applaud Rob for his good sportsmanship this entire saga. If he can make it till the DVD release, I will give him a standing ovation. Are you going to see the film, OB? I will, but not until the last possible moment…and by that, I mean redbox. 😉

That would be a NO! I’m going to pass on seeing BD2. After seeing Rob in Cosmo, I’m sorry its hard for me revert back to seeing Rob in this drivel. I guess I’m a little jaded. I like Bill Condon’s other films and I guess he did this to get some tent pole CGI street credit but the lack of substance in these films and seeing K act like K for 90 minutes is way more than I can stand.

Oh! To those who thought Rob’s suit was awful? The green and black houndstooth fabric was a nice complement for the black carpet and a nice contrast to the sea of black and grey suits. Very smart! I mean come on! This is Twilight know one takes these movies seriously why not have a little fun and mix it up. I applaud him!

Please! What was really awful and tacky was Rob’s co-stars dress or should I say negligee. At least we know where her priorities are.

Hmm! Let’s see. Was K selling herself or the movie? I’m confused given the lady of the night get up she was wearing.
