This week Safe House ($23.6M) took number one at the box office, bumping The Vow ($23.1M) to number two slot. Journey 2: The Mysterious Island ($27.3M) stayed in fourth place while Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance brought in $22.1 M taking third on our list. GR:SoV and The Secret World of Arrietty opened this last week so let’s see how they did and if they are worth the money!

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance—PG-13 What’s the Buzz? Where to begin? Entertainment Weekly says that it has enough action to cover up the “plot holes and thinly written characters.”[1] Most consumers complained about the barely there story line and hated it. Most thought the first one was better.
So is it worth the money? No

The Secret World of Arrietty—G –What’s the Buzz? Very well received by critics and viewers! The Los Angeles Times calls it “beautiful, gentle, and pure…”[2] What a breath of fresh air! Many consumers loved the story and felt no matter how advanced computer animation gets, nothing can tough the classic hand-crafted kind.
So is it worth the money? Yes, yes, YES!!
