Beautiful selections Paris. I’m glad you included the opera. Paris, Ozzie, OB, and I have been reading The Bronze Horseman trilogy, and in the last book, there is a very poignant place in the story where this song is being played on the radio. I listened to it, passed it onto paris, and we both agreed it was exceptionally beautiful and quite appropriate.
Here is the Translation:
I am a scorned wife,
faithful, yet insulted.
Heavens, what did I do?
And yet he is my heart,
my husband, my love,
my hope.
It’s hard for me to listen to without all those raw emotions consuming me. It is a beautifully, haunting masterpiece.

This is so beautiful Paris. This music makes me feel sorrowful, contemplative and wistful. All of which I can imagine in the scene LB is talking about in the book we are reading….. Great find Paris!!
