There is a difference in acting styles and professionalism between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Rob was involved in amateur theater at the Barnes Theater Company; his role in Tess of D’auberville, got him noticed by a professional in the industry and after that he started looking for professional roles.
Kristen’s family was already in the business and she began her acting career at the age of eight after an agent saw her in a school Christmas play. To my knowledge she has never had any formal training in acting.
If you listen to the commentary for Remember Me, Rob is extremely professional and was also given an executive producer credit for his work behind the scenes as well. According to Chris Weitz, the director for New Moon, Kristen has such a dirty mouth they couldn’t do a blooper reel because it would have been rated NC-17.

After the Twilight Saga is finished do you think Rob will be taken seriously as an actor? Do you think Kristen will be taken seriously? After filming is done, what do you think Rob and Kristen need to do in order for them to continue receiving lead roles in Hollywood?

After Twilight is over Kristen and Rob will be engraved in everyones head as Bella and Edward there is know way around that. They will have changed the vampire film genre for there generation and our culture.
Will Rob and Kristen have a career after Twilight is over? I hope they both can move on. Drew Barrymore was able to move on after E.T. and after her crazy childhood, so perhaps Kristen can overcome her Twilight image and bad press. I think Rob is on his way to becoming successful based on the movie choices he’s made so far. It will be interesting to see what happens, you never know.
I definetly see growth from Rob, each role he has taken he learns more and you can notice a maturity and experience. Kristen I don’t see much growth all of her roles, except for Bella are the same. I don’t see any maturity if anything I see the opposite.
Plus, for Rob this is his second franchise, yeah he only worked on one of the Harry Potter movies, but he walked away from that with experience, which he seem to learn from.
We most likely will see way more of Rob in the future. Kristen will probably be around but not in anything as big as Twilight.
